Who is responsible?
Saifex is an independent developer brand based in Slovenia, not a statement of registered company status. The data controller is Said Fetić, an independent developer operating under the Saifex brand, responsible for personal data processed for support and the app services described below. Privacy contact: saifex.apps@outlook.com.
This policy covers this website and the described app implementations. Vaktija Slovenija and Učimo se slovenščino are publicly available on Android and iOS. Modelio and Factory Boss are in development. A development feature is not a claim of public availability. App stores and service providers also have their own privacy responsibilities.
This website
This static website has no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking pixels, embedded third-party content or contact form. It uses browser localStorage only for your light/dark preference, under the key saifex-theme. This preference stays in your browser and can be removed by clearing this site’s stored data. No analytics cookies are set by the website code.
GitHub Pages hosts the site and receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address when serving pages. Hosting logs and retention are managed by GitHub, not an analytics dashboard operated by Saifex. See GitHub’s privacy statement. Email and store links contact those providers only when you choose to open them.
Vaktija Slovenija
Local settings, accounts and prayer data
Vaktija does not require a user account, and Saifex does not operate a custom Vaktija backend for accounts, analytics or receipt storage. City, language, appearance, tesbih count, reminder preferences, cached prayer data and the last ad-display time are stored locally. App code does not upload these preferences to Saifex.
You select the city manually. Prayer times and calendar data are retrieved from a third-party prayer-time data provider over HTTPS. The provider may receive the device IP address and ordinary network metadata required to serve the request. No GPS coordinates or Saifex account identifier are sent for this purpose. Local cache and bundled fallback data are also available. Its server-log retention cannot be determined from the app. iOS version checks contact Apple’s public lookup service using the app identifier and storefront, not a user account identifier.
Optional Qibla location
Location permission is used while using the Qibla compass to calculate the direction on the device. App code does not send these GPS coordinates to Saifex or supply them to AdMob. Location is not used to choose prayer times. You can deny or revoke it in device settings and still use the manually selected city.
Advertisements and consent
The free version uses Google AdMob App Open ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent. Advertising SDKs may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device/app or advertising identifiers where available, ad impressions and interactions, app interactions, and crash/performance diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, security and SDK operation. These are third-party SDK data flows even without a Saifex account; identifiers can associate data with a device.
Ad requests are gated by UMP’s canRequestAds result. Privacy choices can be reviewed in the app’s settings where the consent options are required. Consent, device settings and platform configuration influence advertising behavior. The current iOS version requests non-personalized ads and disables the optional publisher first-party ID; it does not request Apple tracking permission. This is not a blanket claim that third-party SDKs collect no data or cannot track. Non-personalized advertising can still involve identifiers and diagnostics. Android behavior depends on the consent and advertising configuration.
Annual Premium and store processing
Premium is an optional yearly subscription that only removes advertisements. No other feature is Premium-only. Android purchases are handled by Google Play Billing; the iOS version uses Apple StoreKit. The store processes your payment and store account; Vaktija does not receive card details. Subscription/transaction status is checked on the device to determine ad-free entitlement and restore purchases, without sending receipts to a Saifex receipt server. Stores retain their own transaction records. See subscription terms.
Local reminders
Prayer reminders are scheduled locally on the device, with system notification permission. There is no Vaktija remote-push token service or Saifex push server. On iOS, opening the app replenishes the limited upcoming reminder queue. Delivery and sound depend on OS permissions, Focus/Do Not Disturb, battery and device settings; permission for notifications is separate from advertising consent.
What Saifex receives
Saifex receives the information you voluntarily send to support, and reporting made available to the developer by the app stores or AdMob, such as sales and ad-performance reports. The app does not send Saifex a GPS history, personal prayer profile or local settings database. This distinction does not remove the separate data processing performed by Google, Apple or the prayer-data provider.
Učimo se slovenščino
Učimo se slovenščino is publicly available on Android and iOS. The app stores lesson progress, practice results and preferences locally in Hive. It requires no Saifex account and has no custom learning-progress backend or Supabase account service. Speech playback uses bundled audio or the device’s text-to-speech engine; installed voice availability and any network use by that engine depend on the device/provider. No recording or speech-upload feature is part of the inspected implementation.
Production builds integrate Google AdMob and UMP. Ads may include banner, interstitial and app-open formats, depending on platform, release configuration and consent. The Google SDK data categories described for advertising above also apply when this integration is enabled. Progress is not uploaded to Saifex for advertising by app code. The applicable store privacy disclosures describe the data categories associated with the production build and should be read together with this policy.

Modelio: development implementation
Modelio uses Supabase for authentication, database records and uploaded images. Depending on the features used, records include email and account credentials managed by authentication, names, profile/portfolio information, city or chosen location, availability, listings, applications, messages, reviews, saved items and reports. Public profiles, listings and portfolio images are visible to the audiences indicated in the app; messages are delivered to participants and moderation records support safety handling.
Optional location is used for nearby search and location-based marketplace functions. If enabled, coordinates used in backend search requests can be received by Supabase; this differs from Vaktija’s device-only Qibla use. The development implementation also integrates Firebase Cloud Messaging for remote notifications when configured. Device notification tokens can be associated with the account in Supabase for delivery, and Google processes push-delivery metadata. Notification permission is optional.
The local development build includes an account deletion flow with password confirmation, storage cleanup and a delete_my_account database request. Deployment of that database function and production backup retention still require operator confirmation. Some shared review/report records can be de-linked rather than fully removed. Use the public account-deletion request page if the control is missing or does not work. This development description is not a claim that Modelio is publicly released.
Factory Boss
Factory Boss is in development. The inspected local Unity project uses on-device game saves and does not integrate an advertising, account or analytics service in its package configuration. No public online account service is represented here. Data practices will be reviewed again for the actual published version; support emails follow the contact section below.
Purposes and legal bases
Processing necessary to provide a requested account/service or manage a subscription is assessed on the basis of performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Optional advertising consent is requested where required (Article 6(1)(a)); it can be withdrawn without making earlier lawful processing unlawful. Device permissions are separate system controls, not blanket consent to all processing.
Support, abuse prevention and security may rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), subject to balancing your rights; required records may rely on a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). Providers determine legal bases for their independent processing. We do not treat accepting a privacy policy as consent for every purpose. No custom Saifex automated decision system with legal or similarly significant effects is implemented in the inspected apps.
Providers and international processing
Services are app-specific: Google AdMob/UMP for configured ads in Vaktija and Učimo; Google Play and Apple for distribution and payments; a third-party prayer-time data provider for Vaktija prayer data; Supabase and configured Firebase Cloud Messaging for Modelio; GitHub Pages for this website; Microsoft Outlook for support email. Firebase and Supabase are not Vaktija integrations.
Providers may act as processors or independent controllers depending on the service, and may process information outside the EEA. Applicable safeguards can include adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as described by each provider. This site does not claim that every service is EU-only or that a particular hosting region/contract has been verified.

Retention and security
Local preferences/cache remain until cleared, replaced or removed with app/browser data; operating-system backups may preserve a copy according to your backup settings. Pending reminders are replaced when rescheduled. Purchase state is refreshed from the store. The app does not operate a central Saifex archive of these local records.
Support correspondence is held in the support mailbox. Its retention depends on resolving the request, necessary follow-up and applicable record/claim obligations; ask us about deletion of a particular conversation. Store, SDK, API and hosting records follow the respective providers’ retention rules. We cannot confirm their server-log durations from app source. Modelio account data supports the account/service until deletion is requested or other applicable retention grounds arise; deployed backup and de-linking details must be confirmed for its release.
Network integrations use HTTPS. Local storage still depends on device security, and no service can promise absolute security. Do not email passwords, private keys or payment-card details.
Your choices and privacy rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent. These rights depend on the processing and legal basis. Send a request to saifex.apps@outlook.com identifying the app and relevant data, without including a password. Identity verification may be needed. GDPR requests normally require a response within one month; lawful extensions must be explained.
You may complain to Slovenia’s Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec) or another competent supervisory authority. Local-only data can be managed through device settings. For Modelio account deletion, use the linked request instructions. Vaktija has no Saifex account to delete. For store-held payment data or independently processed provider records, the relevant provider also offers privacy controls.
Changes to this policy
This policy is reviewed when app integrations or data practices change. The date above identifies this version; updated notices will be published here. A policy update does not itself authorize new optional processing. Contact us before sending unnecessary sensitive information, especially about children.
